Explaining The CCF

We live in times where we cannot depend on government and municipalities to service our suburbs in full.

As community we need to stand together and drive projects from one legal, auditable entity to ensure transparency and results.
If we do not take control of our suburb and keep government accountable.

Our properties will lose its value and bring down the whole suburb.

By standing together we CAN and WILL make a difference.

The CCF model is built on the successes of the Hatfield CID and other city approved districts.

If not, please take some time and see where we are going with the CCF.

The CCF has no political affiliation, therefore no matter which party are in office, the CCF will work with that party and Ward Councillors to reach its goals but will also keep the party in office responsible for expenses occurred with our tax money.

We respect all ethnicity, cultures, religion, and sexual orientation and will not tolerate any form of discrimination.

We focus on the needs and rights of the property tax paying residents of the suburb.

Our official language of correspondence is English.

To bring the residents of the suburb together, not only by uplifting the suburb, but also to support each other in business, health, social welfare, by-laws, and safety.

To register non-profit companies for each suburb, under the umbrella of the CCF Group, from where we will drive projects to uplift suburbs.

To register private project management companies for each suburb with a B-BBEE status from residents in the suburb to oversee municipality tenders and assist with project management of projects in the suburb without tenderpreneurship.

To employ a full-time project team in each suburb with one cost saving Head-Office from where admin and controls are managed.

We aim to have a one stop community service centre where all suburb issues can be reported and handled by the CCF Team.

We shall, with external help, scrutinise the IDP [Integrated Development Plan] and make sure that our tax money is spent in good faith without corruption, fraud, and unnecessary expenditure.

We aim to build relationships with any other organisations operating in the area for example the CPF [Community Policing Forum], Security Companies, Churches and Developers that have an impact on the suburb.

To achieve our vision, we need members. To attract more members, we need to execute successful projects.

Goals are part of every aspect of a business and life. It provides a sense of direction, motivation, a clear focus and clarify importance. By setting goals one reaches targets. To achieve the goals as set out in our mission. Our projects will run on the SMART concept.

Project Execution
Our projects will run on the SMART concept.

Specific
Our projects shall be well defined, clear and unambiguous. The questions who, what, where, when, why and how much will be clearly defined.

Measurable
Our projects shall have specific criteria that are measurable to determine progress towards the accomplishment of the goal. Before we commence with projects, we will have a clear indication of costs and the timeframe of each project.

Achievable
Our projects shall be attainable and not impossible to achieve. We will have the resources and capabilities to achieve the goal before we commence with such a project.

Realistic
Our projects shall be within reach, realistic and relevant to the purpose.

Timely
Our projects shall have clearly defined timelines, including a starting date and a target date. Yes, we know life happens and delays may occur, but our aim will be to stay within the planned project periods.

There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.
