What we stand for
Vision, Mission & Values
Clear principles, written down, so residents and authorities both know exactly what to expect from the CCF.
Vision
To create safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing suburbs for all legal property tax-paying residents.
Mission
To unite lawful residents through improvement of infrastructure and aesthetics, support for local businesses and economic growth, health and social welfare initiatives, by-law enforcement, and Community Safety.
Objectives
- Execute impactful and sustainable upliftment projects across Pretoria's eastern suburbs
- Grow the membership base and increase effectiveness
- Promote collaboration among residents, professionals, and local stakeholders
- Enhance quality of life in the communities we serve
Values
Apolitical
We work constructively with any governing authority committed to community betterment.
Collaborative
Supports and collaborates with Community Police Forums (per Section 215 of the SA Constitution, Chapter 7, Section 18 of 1996), security companies, churches, local businesses, developers, and community organisations.
Inclusive
Respects all South African ethnicities, cultures, and religions. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Community Partnerships
Inspired by the Hatfield CID — registered as a CUP.
CCF is a duly registered Community Upliftment Precinct (CUP) — a City of Tshwane initiative — giving us direct access to the office of the City Manager and the Regional Director, bypassing political interference. Hatfield's CID showed what's possible when residents take ownership of their suburb; we apply the same principle to Pretoria East.
